Twelve visionary creatives were invited to participate in a weeklong workshop at Vibram Headquarters in Boston, MA, with a unique mission: upcycle a pair of your shoes. During this immersive experience, the artists came together not only to reimagine footwear but also to inspire and motivate one another, forging a collaborative atmosphere where innovation and creativity thrived.

I had the opportunity to learn the intricate process of deconstructing and reconstructing the Converse Cons Fast Break Shoe, guided by the talented team at Brooklyn Shoespace and the innovative creatives at Vibram.

This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of craftsmanship and design while emphasizing sustainable practices through upcycling.
